Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: All orders cost $2 to ship regardless of the quantity ordered. If you only want one nail hardener or one thousand nail hardeners your entire order ships for only $2. This was a promotion we started several years ago and it worked so well for our customers that we decided to keep it. International orders and orders outside the continental United States (Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam) are substantially more to ship. If the cost is prohibitive then we will contact you to approve the additional shipping costs.

Q: But it costs less than $2 to ship one polish or hardener?
A: Then we recommend you buy two.

Q: How do I apply the Nail Hardener?
A: If this is your very first application then the manufacturer recommends you apply a thin coat to the tips of your nails halfway down your nail. One coat will suffice. This is to protect your nail from the pain or sensitivity that weak nails tend to suffer from. Some individuals whom may have used acrylics in the past may experience pain or discomfort. This is why we recommend a thin layer for the initial application and then repeat once a week over the entire nail until they reach the length and strength you desire.

Q: But I always feel pain when apply your hardener?
A: Then cease using this product and consult a physician; you may be allergic to one or more of the ingredients listed on the bottle. If your pregnant then it is recommended that you not use any of our nail products.

Q: What’s the story with the name “La Corina”?
A: La Corina translated to English means The Corina, it was a playful term of endearment the founder’s family used in referencing each other. Example: The Corina has far too expensive tastes, or their goes The Corina showing off her pretty new dress. It doesn’t translate well from Spanish to English but it does have its tongue in check sarcasm that the family is known for.

Q: Who is David and why is he always answering emails, packaging products, and answering the phones?
A: David is my little helper monkey that is trained to make sure each and every customer has a pleasant experience when shopping at LaCorina.com, please do not feed him.

Q: If David is working then where is Corina?
A: The Corina is getting a suntan after all we are in Miami!
